The much-anticipated second game in the Zero Escape series, Virtue's Last Reward introduces a mostly-new cast, a thrilling and suspenseful storyline, and challenging new puzzles that expand and improve upon the concepts introduced in Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999), the first game in this critically acclaimed series of adventure games!
Virtue's Last Reward follows the trials and tribulations of Sigma, who is drugged and kidnapped from his university. He wakes up in an elevator with a girl named Phi. What’s in store for Sigma, Phi, and the seven others they eventually meet? Why have these nine been chosen, and most importantly, who will they ally with and who will they betray?
Complex Puzzles &Deep, Suspenseful Story: Learn the mystery behind Zero and the nine participants as players follow the tension-filled plotline that unfolds in the "Novel" portions of the game. In the “Escape” stages, players must solve complex puzzles in order to escape rooms and progress through the game.
Fully-Voiced Novel Sections & Dual Language Support: With dual language support, players can choose to listen to the story unfold during the Novel portion of the game in either English or Japanese.
Complex Story with a Myriad of Twists and Turns: Like its spiritual predecessor 999, Virtue's Last Reward has a number of "endings" that, when viewed in aggregate, expose the truth behind the deadly game being played with the lives of those forced to participate in this version of the Nonary Game!
Immersive Three-Dimensional Environment: In “Escape” stages, players can rotate the camera around a 3D room and zoom in on objects to look for clues. Players can also select and manipulate objects in three-dimensional space.
